Class Agenda 5/16 THRU 6/7: FINAL PROJECT

1.  How can an 8th grader impact Washington, DC?  By having a voice!  United States Congressman Dan Maffei wants your input on the most pressing issues of the day.  He'll be visiting JDMS on 5/29 to check your progress!
2.  FINAL PROJECT:  See the attached calendar of the task(s) for the day, AND the homework for the night.
3.  It is very important to stay caught up and to use your class time wisely.

2.  Modern Era Stations.  Over the next 3 days, you will be researching the presidencies of Nixon through George W. Bush.  Use the resources in the packet, and the video clips below, to complete your "Modern Era" packet.   
3.  Closure:  Read the article on the amount of money that we spend on our ex-presidents, and answer the question that follows.
