Class Agenda

1.  Bellringer:  Do top 2 questions on the sheet that the sub will distribute on the way into class.
2.  As a follow up to yesterday's guest author, watch movie on Auschwitz...this was the camp that Mrs. Lazan was en route to when she was liberated.  Auschwitz was one of the most notorious "death camps" of Nazi Europe.
3.  As a closure to our "mini-holocaust" unit - Complete and discuss the bottom 3 questions of the handout.

Class Agenda

1.  Bellringer:  Read "What is a Corporation" on pg. 16 of your unit packet.  How can corporations raise $?
2.  Tiered Activity (TA= tiered activity packet)...Day 2.  Do quiz on pg. 4 of TA.  Grade quiz as a class...then go on to page 5 and follow the directions based on what you scored on the quiz.  You might need to use your unit packet (as indicated on pg. 5 of TA).

HW - finish your assignment in the TA packet.  If you'd like to do one of the other assignments in packet for extra credit, that could be turned in on Monday.

PERIOD 2 ONLY:  Imagine that you are small business owner living during the age of these monopolies.  Using 5 vocabulary words on pg. 1(TA), write a letter to your Senator explaining reasons why they should regulate monopolies.  Use the back of the TA to complete this assignment, and turn it in.
