1. Bellringer: How are laws supposed to prevent crime? Bridge discussion into the vocabulary term deterrent
2. Prohibition: "The Wets and the Drys" (pg. 26b-26e; Do question 1 on a separate sheet of paper. On that same sheet of paper, create a web organizer of the "Negative Effects of Prohibition").
3. Imagine that you are living in America prior to the 1932 election: Write a brief letter to your local congressman asking them to repeal Prohibition, due to all the negative effects of the law. In your letter, identify FOUR reasons why it should be repealed.
