Class Agenda

1.  Bellringer:  Why do you think that Monopoly the "world's most popular board game?"

2.  Mini-Project:  Tiered Activity (TA= tiered activity packet).  We will be using this packet WITH our unit packet (UP= unit packet).

• Review vocabulary you will encounter in your reading (pg.1 TA)
• Read article "Monopoly - Not Always a Game" (pgs. 12-16 UP) and complete the MVPs (on pg.2-3 TA) as you read each "Section."  An MVP is the "Most Valuable Point" of a section of reading.  Your must summarize (not copy) the most valuable point of each section of reading.  
• A "Section" is 2 paragraphs of reading.  For example, "Section 1" will be the first 2 paragraphs of the reading...Section 2 will be the next 2 paragraphs...and so on.
