9/26 Class Agenda

1.  Bellringer:  Do Q's on pg. 25.  How were African-American communities in the South negatively impacted after the Civil War?

2.  Sharecropping discussion (pg. 17) Why is sharecropping sometimes referred to as "the ghost of antebellum South?"

3.  Vocabulary Review (pgs 4-5).  Class Activity - in your groups identify and summarize the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments (pg. 12a).  Your summary must be 5 words or less!  Draw a picture to represent each amendment.  Divide a piece of notebook paper into thirds...using one section for each amendment...we will model this "foldable" technique in class.  

HW - Test TUESDAY...use pgs. 4, 5, 26.
